Week 4 Reflection

This Week Was Book Week

I was sick for 2 days of book week but here is what I remember.

Monday

On Monday we planned our door displays and our costumes. We were all in a good mood for the start of book week. We also had buddy reading with the junior classes at 12 o'clock. We had two door displays both of them Roald Dahl one was Charlie and the chocolate factory and one was The BFG. My favorite was The BFG.

Tuesday

On Tuesday there was a Pajama party in Nā Manua (our new library) at 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. . I didn't go so I do not know what it was like but everyone says it was amazing.

Friday

Today we had our biggest event of all Book Character Day where we had to dress up as our favorite character from any book I didn't have a book but I was a giraffe from "The Giraffe The Pelly and Me." 

Golden Ticket

And on top of that each day there was a golden ticket. If we found the golden ticket we won some really cool prizes here is a list of who found it each day.

In this book Max's mum gets stolen by a man called Mr Chu and the flock discover a new kind of robot of which they call M-Geeks or Dumb-bots that belong to Mr Chu and they also discover two more new creatures called the krelp and a mysterious mountain thing which they do not know what it's name is.

In this book the flock are captured by Itex  and taken to a dungeon and chained to a wall by some robotic erasers with Eraser skin and they discover that the directer is Max's mother but is not you will have to read the book to find out. 

Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports

Title: Saving the world and other extreme sports

In this book the flock find out who Max's parents are and go to live with them for about three months. Her parents are Jeb Batchelder and Valencia Martinez (who is a vet, how appropriate!) and her actual brother is Ari.

Westa-maths
This week me and a bunch of other Students all around the west coast went to the NBS theater in Westport to have a maths competition known as Westa-maths.

For numeracy this term we are focusing on fractions here is my (unfinished) work go straight to the fractions section.
